Got questions?
We've got answers.

What is a pelvic health physiotherapist?
A pelvic health physiotherapist is a qualified physiotherapist with additional training in treating conditions related to the pelvic floor, bladder, bowel, and pelvis. They work with people of all ages and genders, supporting concerns like incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, pregnancy/postnatal recovery, and post-surgical rehab.

What is the investment?
Please see our up-to-date service price list here.

Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book an appointment. You can book directly. If you have a GP care plan (EPC/CDM), you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate - just bring the referral to your first appointment.

What happens in the first appointment?
We’ll start with a detailed discussion about your symptoms, health history, and goals. If you're comfortable, a physical assessment may be included - this could involve real-time ultrasound if your appointment is in person. You’ll leave with a clear plan and strategies to get started.

Will I need an internal exam?
Only if you're comfortable. Internal exams can help assess pelvic floor function but are never mandatory. I’ll always explain your options and ensure you feel safe, informed, and in control. We have other options, such as visual examination and real-time ultrasound, that can also be used.

Do you help men?
Yes! We work with men experiencing concerns such as incontinence, pelvic pain, bowel dysfunction, and post-prostate surgery rehabilitation.

Do you offer Telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth is a great option for education, support, and guidance, especially if you’re rural or time-poor. If hands-on treatment is needed, we’ll discuss follow-up in person.

How many sessions will I need?
It varies depending on your goals and symptoms, but many people start seeing results within a few sessions. We’ll check in regularly and adjust the plan as needed.

Can I claim through private health or Medicare?
Yes. If you have private health insurance that includes physiotherapy, you may be able to claim a rebate. The rebate amount will depend on your health care fund and cover.

Medicare rebates are available for eligible patients with a GP care plan (EPC/CDMP).

A GP CDMP can be created by your GP allowing you up to 5 x rebated physiotherapy visits per year.

The rebate is a set amount, and there will be a gap to pay for the full fee.

Payments are taken in full on the day, then Medicare will reimburse you your rebate straight to your bank account.

Depending on location, you may need to lodge this Medicare rebate through the MyGov website.

Where are you located?
Currently offer appointments in Bridgetown, Busselton, Manjimup, Donnybrook and Kojonup.
