Hello
Hi, I’m Emma — a Titled Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Physiotherapy from Curtin University. I’m passionate about helping people feel strong, confident, and empowered through every stage of life.
About me
Before my first ever university placement in pelvic health, I didn't know what a pelvic floor was. Despite being initially unsure about a placement in this lesser-known field of physiotherapy, I left feeling confident and inspired, knowing I’d found an area where I felt I could make a difference to peoples lives.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked in a sports-focused private practice, managing a predominantly musculoskeletal caseload. This time allowed me to develop a strong foundation in injury management and clinical Pilates. I also gained valuable experience working in community and elite sport, including roles as Head Physiotherapist for the Perth Lynx (WNBL) and East Perth Football Club (Colts/WAFLW), which further strengthened my skills in musculoskeletal care, rehabilitation, and performance-based treatment.

While I enjoyed my work in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, I found myself increasingly drawn to pelvic health. I decided to take the next step by completing my masters at Curtin University to specialise in this area. During and since completing my masters, I’ve worked in both hospital and clinic settings across Perth and Bunbury, supporting clients through every stage of life — from pregnancy and the early postnatal period to perimenopause, post-menopause and beyond.

Currently I see a wide range of pelvic health concerns — including bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pain with intimacy, recovery after gynaecological or prostate surgery, and providing support during the perinatal period. I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel heard, informed, and supported to take charge of their pelvic health, no matter their age or stage of life.
Outside of work, I love spending time in the garden, baking new things in the kitchen, or heading out for a run around Boyanup.
