Postnatal recovery redefined .

A 1:1 personalised, pelvic health physiotherapist-led program supporting postpartum women - whether weeks or years after birth - to safely return to movement, rebuild strength, and overcome the physical challenges that can follow pregnancy and birth.

Helping you feel confident, capable, and more yourself again.

You've had 9 months of changes and a birth.
Recovery takes more than just
"6 weeks".
Whether you are weeks or years post birth, something still feels… off.

Maybe you:

  • Don’t quite trust your bladder.

  • Are experiencing leaking or having to rush to the toilet when you cough, run, or lift.

  • Are feeling a heaviness you didn't have before.

  • Feel like your core isn’t as strong as it once was.

  • Or are nervous returning to the gym, running, or training safely.

And everyone keeps telling you it's normal.
While it can be common - but it's not something you have to live with.

You can rebuild a strong, connected core and feel in control of your body again after giving birth.

The problem:

Most postpartum women are left to figure it out alone.

A quick check at 6 weeks. A few generic exercises. "You're good to go."

But no one tells you how to actually rebuild. No one tells you what's safe, what's not, or why things still feel different months later.

So you google. You hesitate. You avoid exercise because you're scared of making things worse.

That's not a plan. That's guesswork.

Research

The evidence is clear.

1/3 women experience urinary incontinence postpartum.

Thom, D.H. & Rortveit, G. 2010

Vaginal births increase prolapse risk by 2-4 x

Vergeldt et al., 2015

Abdominal separation is present in 60% of women at 6 weeks , and 45% at 6 months postnatal.

Sperstad, J.B. et al., 2016

Around 60% of patients who have had a caesaream birth develop a caesarean scar defect.

Lin, R., Hou, J., Chen, C., 2024

Specific birth factors can also mean a higher risk of pelvic floor issues postpartum.

  • Instrumental delivery (e.g. forceps)  Volløyhaug et al. (2015)

  • Large babies Zhu J, Si J, Zhao L, Liu W. (2010)

  • Long pushing stage O'Leary & Keane (2022)

  • Perineal tears Huber, M., Malers, E. & Tunón, K. (2021)

These aren't rare complications.

They're the reality for many women, and most go unaddressed.

The postpartum period is one of the highest risk times for women to stop engaging in exercising - leading to significant negative impacts on long term health outcomes such as heart, bone and mental health.

So you:

  • Stop running, lifting, or training the way you used to.

  • Plan your day around toilets “just in case”.

  • Put up with leakage when you cough, sneeze or laugh.

  • Avoid certain movements because you don’t trust your body

Symptoms don’t just disappear- they often stay or get worse over time.

The longer this goes unaddressed, the more it changes how you move, train, and live.

The solution.

The problem isn't your body. It's the lack of a proper rehabilitation individualised to you.

Women who receive pelvic floor training are more likely to:

There IS a way to feel strong and safe in your body again.

This is why I created The Postpartum Rebuild Program:

You don’t need to keep guessing. You need a plan that is actually tailored to you.

The Postpartum Rebuild Program is a 4-month, 1:1 pelvic health physiotherapist-led program that takes the guesswork out of postpartum recovery - and gives you a clear, personalised path back to strength, confidence, and the movement you love.

No generic exercise plans. No starting over every time life gets busy. No wondering if what you're doing is right.

Just a structured, supported recovery- built around your body, your birth, and your goals.

So if you want to

  • Stop leaking when you cough, sneeze, run or lift.

  • Rebuild a strong, connected core.

  • Feel in control of your body again.

  • Return to the gym, running and your training safely.

This is for you.

Who it's for.

  • You're postpartum - weeks or years - and you’re looking for guided recovery

  • You're tired of piecing advice together and getting nowhere

  • Leakage, pain, heaviness, or weakness is quietly stopping you from doing the things you love

  • You've had one-off appointments but lose momentum between sessions

  • You're ready to stop managing symptoms and actually resolve them

Who it's not for.

  • Those looking for quick fixes, or to “bounce back” postpartum

  • Those wanting to follow generic programs

  • Those who prefer to piece things together themselves rather than be guided step by step

  • Those who are already confidently moving, training, and are completely symptom-free

The Method

The Postpartum Rebuild Method.

The Postpartum Rebuild Method has helped 100+ women rebuild their strength, resolve pelvic floor symptoms and return to exercise after birth safely and confidently.
How it works:
This is not a high-volume program.
Each client is worked with closely, so intake is limited.

The program follows a 4-pillar framework:

Screenshot 2026-04-25 at 7.53.11 am.png

This method focuses on personalised assessment, pelvic floor & core integration, and progressive strength-based rehabilitation after birth.

Consistence is key here. This method is build for those who are ready to actively participate in their recovery.

Know your body.
Remove guesswork.
Build your plan.

We identify whats going on in your body and build awareness over time.

Why a program instead of one-off sessions

You attend your session and leave with the best intentions- you’re going to do your exercises daily, start a walking plan and track your symptoms.

After about day 3 motivation slips. Life (especially new-born life) gets in the way, and you don’t quite have the support or tools to keep you on track. You’ll next touch base with your clinician in a month, which seems miles away and delays results now.

Now imagine you have 1:1 support, able to reach out to your practitioner with any questions or hurdles as they come up, and have someone in your corner keeping you motivated and accountable. The plan is modified on the go, results are achieved faster.

FAQ’s

Is this suitable for me if I’m months or years postpartum?

Yes, this program is designed for women at any stage after birth. Whether you’re recently postpartum or years down the track, we meet you where your body is now and guide you forward.

Do I need to have symptoms to join?

Not necessarily. Some women join because they’re experiencing symptoms like leaking, pain, or weakness, while others want to return to exercise safely and feel confident in their body again. This program supports both.

How is this different from doing exercises I’ve found online?

Most advice online is generic, and doesn’t take into account your body, your birth, or your symptoms. This program gives you a personalised, pelvic health phys approved plan that evolves as your body changes, so you’re not guessing (or just hoping!) you’re doing the right thing.

Why not just book a one-off pelvic health physio appointment?

One-off appointments can give you valuable insight, but they don’t provide the ongoing guidance needed for full recovery. This program gives you a structured plan, progression, motivation and continued support so you actually follow through and get results.I’m a mum, life is busy.

How much time do I need each week?

The program is designed to fit into real life. Your plan is tailored to you, with realistic expectations so you can stay consistent, even with a busy schedule. This will look entirely different to each person, which is the beauty of having a personalised program! A win for some may be getting back into a consistent home-workout routine, whereas for others might be getting a PB in a 10k.

Will this help with leaking / pain / core weakness?

Yes, these are some of the most common reasons women seek help postpartum. The program is designed to address these issues at the root, not just manage them.

What makes this program different?

This isn’t just a set of exercises. It’s a physiotherapist-led process that guides you from where you are now to feeling strong, confident, and in control of your body again. You’re not left guessing, you’re supported every step of the way.
