Helping you heal, rebuild, and feel like yourself again — one step at a time.

Whether you’ve had a vaginal or caesarean birth, your body has been through a lot — and recovery doesn’t happen overnight. We’re here to support you through the early days, weeks, and months as you heal, regain strength, and return to the things you love.

Our postnatal recovery services are tailored to your unique experience, your goals, and your stage of recovery — whether that’s a few weeks postpartum or many years down the track.

What We Support

We offer evidence-based, compassionate care for a range of postnatal concerns, including:

  • Pelvic floor recovery and strengthening

  • Bladder or bowel leakage (incontinence)

  • Prolapse symptoms or pressure/heaviness

  • Abdominal separation (diastasis recti)

  • Perineal or caesarean scar care

  • Pelvic, back, or hip pain

  • Pain with intimacy

  • Guidance on returning to exercise or lifting

What to Expect at Your Postnatal Appointment

Whether you’re a few weeks postpartum or much later, your session is guided by you — your comfort and goals are always prioritised.

Services may include:

  • Pelvic floor assessment (internal or external depending on preference)

  • Abdominal wall check for separation

  • Scar tissue assessment and management strategies (perineal or c-section)

  • Postural advice and safe lifting techniques for daily activities and baby care

  • Guidance on safely returning to walking, running, Pilates, gym, or sport

  • Individualised home exercises to support your recovery

  • Education and support for managing prolapse or incontinence symptoms

When Should I Book In?

You have a couple of options here, depending on your situation and goals.

Phone call check- from 2 weeks

Discuss how your birth went, ask any questions you may have and start on initial recovery tailored to your stage.

In person appointment- from 4-6 weeks

Allows for hands on assessment (pelvic floor or c/s), discuss early recovery and assist with gradual return to movement.

Note: Telehealth appointments are available for those days that you are unable to get out of the house, or if you have further to travel.

But it’s never too late - we regularly see people months or years after birth.

If you’re unsure, reach out, we’re happy to guide you.
